Mr. & Mrs. Jura Morgan flew in from Florida to celebrate their marriage with a small hometown reception in Columbus.
We had planned to meet up downtown before their party, and in true Nebraskan weather tradition it was cold COLD for their session. And I’m talking a high of twenty-seven plus wind cold, but Neely and her husband braved the weather and we got some great images to show for it!

Ashley sat down in the chair and was instantly surrounded in a cloud of hairspray. Hair and makeup went quick and Ashley even had time to help finish up the flower girl’s makeup and get some cuddles in with Lyrik, her youngest little one.
When the bridesmaids were done, I headed up to Camp Luther to catch the men finishing up getting ready. Landon (Ashley’s oldest) was enjoying playing with the special wedding day toys his mom so cleverly got for him.
A few final preparations and we where ready to start in on the boy’s pictures.
Topher and Ashley wanted to wait till Ashley walked down the aisle for him to see her in her dress. It was a little tricky keeping Ashley and her dress “hidden”, but her bridesmaids did a wonderful job preventing bride and groom from crossing paths.

Ashley’s dad, who was gaurding the outside of the church while she got into her dress, took a quick minute with Ashley before she headed out to take pictures.
The excitement of the ceremony kept everyone in a great mood : ) especially the groom!

We wrapped up our formal pictures with a sweet moment between Ashley and Lyrik. Ashley nursed Lyrik quickly, before heading back up to the ceremony site. Who knew wedding dresses could be nursing friendly : ) Ashley is such an amazing mommy!
The ceremony was gorgeous and the look on every one’s faces as Ashley danced down the aisle was priceless!
There was so much love and laughter shared!
Right after the ceremony we grabbed a few pictures including some of the bride and groom together with the boys, Ashley with her sisters, and a super sweet picture of Ashley with her dad.
Just before the sun set I was able to pull Topher and Ashley aside for some intimate first pictures as husband and wife.
These two are ridiculously cute together!
After a quick ride on the party bus we headed to the masquerade themed reception.

The night ended with a very fitting last dance to Sugarland’s song ‘Stuck like Glue’ and then one last picture of the bride and groom with me!
Congratulation Topher and Ashley! Thank you so much for letting me share in your special day!
I have always had my reservations about photographing weddings, but when Mr. and now Mrs. Miller first approached me about capturing their big day, it felt more like an invitation into their lives and I just couldn’t refuse : ) I tagged along with the bride and groom from the time the bride sat down to get her hair done, all the way to their last dance, and not a one second went by that I didn’t feel the love these two shared for each other, their family, and their friends.
