January 14, 2011I’m what you would call a fair weather photographer! I love the rainy days of spring and the overcast days of fall, but I hunker down inside the studio come winter.
I have been keeping busy with indoor sessions and the photography class I’m putting together for the college, but cabin fever has me daydreaming of wildflowers and summer sunsets : )

With 2011 quickly approaching I can’t help but feel blessed. Simply Loved has bloomed this last year into something I could have only dreamed about. Simply Loved Photography Workshop
November 12, 2010I’m excited to announce, that I will be teaching a photography class through Central Community College’s Community Education Program!
I will be sharing my techniques on how to transform your blah photos into distinctive and professional-quality works of art. 
The class will cover; camera settings, lighting techniques for both indoors and outdoors, posing, and editing tips and tricks.
This class will be limited to seven students who have basic computer skills and who own and know how to operate a digital camera whether it be point and shoot or DSLR.
The class is Thursday, January 20 and 27 from 6-8pm., and is $80 per student.
Fall Mini Sessions – columbus nebraska family photography

On October 10th, 2010 I will be hosting a round of Fall Mini Sessions. These $50, 20 minute sessions, are geared towards families of five or fewer (sessions can be combined for larger families). I have something extra special planned to make these sessions fun and the portraits unique!

Last weekend two very special people to me, tied the knot and became Mr. and Mrs. I could gush about Scott and Jessie all night; they are both so full of laughter and love! It was so exciting to share in their day and even better to be able to capture it for them!
