Six months old and as cute as can be!

It was fun to see how Jude has changed and grown from his three months session. He has such a big personality and had us all laughing with his happy squeals and airplane trick!

Brisa’s mom did a great job picking out tons of cute pieces for Brisa to wear for her session, and we had fun playing dress up with her. She is so smart and so strong for just four months old!

I first met Kyla when she was just three days old (you can see her newborn session images HERE) and oh what a difference a year makes! She has grown and blossomed into such a character. Her mommy and daddy have done so well with her; she is ssooo smart and such a sweetie!
I had so much fun with Kyla and I got tons of wonderful pictures and had a hard time narrowing them down to share, so here is a oversized sneak peek of the pretty pretty princess’s first birthday/cake smash session.

Thank you Brandon and Amanda for once again making the drive down for Kyla’s session. Adam and I are looking forward to meeting your family and friends as we help celebrate your wedding day. Just a few short weeks : ) I’m so excited to see you Amanda and of course Kyla in your pretty dresses!
Our Ellie has had a tough little go the last two months with a bout of RSV, two ear infections, and a case of strep throat all on top of cutting her first tooth. Luckily this last week has brought our now healthy and again happy baby back around.
She is having a blast exploring outside with this unseasonably warm weather. So far she has discovered a love for crunchy leaves, cold sand, and mud… the last of which makes me a little leery, but seeing her fascination with the new textures makes all the extra laundry and multiply baths a day worth it!
I’m not sure what you call this color blue, but drew’s eyes where soooo breathtakingly beautiful! I could have played with him all afternoon on account of the smiles he was shooting me!

It was so much fun chit chatting with you Ed and Becky : ) I was well on my way to talking your ear off!
I keep wanting to say “little guy” but Jude is a big for being just three month old. His mommy brought in the guitar for him to use during his session, and that plus the rock star outfit just make him look so cool!

Jude is one cool little dude big guy!
Stone had all of us cracking up during his session! I have to say, he is the best caked smasher to date. As soon as he got taste of that frosting it was on : ) the cake never stood a chance!

And if these next two don’t make you smile, I don’t know what will!?!
The tiny boots and hat were Stone’s daddy’s when he was little! Isn’t that so neat!

Thank you Chad and Lindsay for making the trek to Columbus for Stone’s session. Give the birthday boy a extra snuggle for me tomorrow!
I took Ellie out to enjoy our unseasonably warm weather yesterday : ) watching her discover and explore the world is so much fun.

Last month I ran a Model Search Photo Contest in order to find a cutie to help with a little project I have coming up after the first of the year. I received dozens of entries and was floored by the HUNDREDS of people who showed their support and voted. I wish I could work with each and every one of the contestants, but do to time (and because it was a contest) there could only be one winner and that winner was Lyrik Miller.
Lyrik has adorn my blog several times already: first in his mommy’s tummy during her maternity session, then for his newborn pictures, next was his first modeling gig, and most recently in his mommy and daddy’s wedding. I’ve watched this little guy grow through my camera lens and was so thrilled to get the chance to work play with him again.
Ashley (Lyrik’s mommy) is an AMAZING women! She and I both advocate for many of the same things (cloth diapering, baby wearing, safe co-sleeping, natural birthing, and breastfeeding) and she asked me to help her celebrate the last little bits of Lyrik’s baby phase (Lyrik will be one and a half next month). Ashley and Lyrik are a nursing pair* and capturing the bond they share was at the top of the list…

*There is nothing more pure, more precious, or more beautiful then a nursing mother and child. I have taken tens of thousands of pictures at this point in my career, but the first image of this post is now one of my new favorites. Ashley looks absolutely gorgeous… I am so glad I was able to capture this image for her : ) being able to give other moms images that I know they will love and cherish forever is why I do what I do!
this little sugar pie is my niece : )

She will be joined soon by niece #2 but I think I’m going to still call her baby Jordynn… at least for a little bit longer. Babies just grow up waaaaaay to fast!
