Adam and I have been itching to get back out and explore after the great time we had on our last family adventure, so for mother’s day I requested an afternoon hike.  It was fun to park the car and just set out with no particular destination in mind.  We climbed a tree, followed a fence line to its end, and straight up just enjoyed the wonders of nature (insert the lyrics to Sugar Magnolia by the Graterful Dead here).

It was a perfect way to spend mother’s day!
