About the artist: Internationally recognized photographer, Ashley Swierczek-Bowns, of Columbus NE, specializes in custom fine art portraiture. Her whimsical style is highlighted through her use of natural light, one-of-a-kind props, and unique locations. With her playful approach to photography, Ashley rewrites the portrait experience, creating sessions that are relaxed, fun, and enjoyable.
I keep wanting to say “little guy” but Jude is a big for being just three month old. His mommy brought in the guitar for him to use during his session, and that plus the rock star outfit just make him look so cool!

Stone had all of us cracking up during his session! I have to say, he is the best caked smasher to date. As soon as he got taste of that frosting it was on : ) the cake never stood a chance!

It is a myth that it takes an expensive camera, a bag of lenses, and a studio full of lights to get great shots of your babies and children. I will demonstrate how I do what I do, and show you simple set-ups that you can remake in your own home.

I helped Ashley and her wonderful husband celebrate the arrival of Aurora two years ago and now I am beyond honored to watch Aurora welcome her new little brother or sister into their cute little family. Aurora is so sweet and loving, she is going to make the best big sister!
