About the artist: Internationally recognized photographer, Ashley Swierczek-Bowns, of Columbus NE, specializes in custom fine art portraiture. Her whimsical style is highlighted through her use of natural light, one-of-a-kind props, and unique locations. With her playful approach to photography, Ashley rewrites the portrait experience, creating sessions that are relaxed, fun, and enjoyable.

My new favorite part of the day…

September 8, 2010

is picking this little guy up from preschool! I miss him like crazy for the three hours he’s at school, but it is worth it… every day when I go to pick him up, he does the whole: running as fast as he can, arms spread wide, leap into my arms thing (like a slow motion meadow love scene).

I’m so glad Cayen loves school and is eager to go every day, but I’m just as delighted he loves coming home too!
