Surrounded by Love…what a perfect way to enter this world!
I always say “moments like these make me proud to be a photographer” but THIS moment made me proud to be a woman. I was overwhelmed with a complete sense of reverence for this incredible mother; she will always be superwoman in my eyes!

Class of 2010 – columbus nebraska high school senior photography
February 26, 2010It’s hard to believe it (especially with all the snow on the ground) but spring it right around the corner and with it comes graduation. I want to give a special thanks to my amazing class of 2010 seniors and their families; yours were some of the funniest sessions to date!
Tim – You where such a goof ball, but you could never tell by looking at these pictures. Thanks for all the laughs, you had us all giggling!
Ashleey - Thanks for being the most amazing model; your marvelous style and confidence shines through in every picture!

Stuart – You reminded me a lot of myself when I was a senior : ) I wore moccasins to my senior pictures too.
Melanie – Every time I look at your pictures I can’t help but laugh at what went through to get these: you climbing over the barb wire fence in your prom dress, the noisy underpass, the crazy attacking geese, and of course the TORNADO!!!
Jocob – You deserve an award for looking so comfortable in spite of the freezing rain!
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL!!!
I’ve been published in a BIG way! – columbus nebraska family photography
February 17, 2010I have always wanted to be a professional volunteer but due to the practicality of it I had to limit myself to part-time volunteer : ) I have volunteered at just about every non-profit organization in this town with the Red Cross being one of my favorites! When the chance came up to be the adult sponsor of the Red Cross youth club last year I jumped all over it. Being connected with this amazing organization has provided a channel in which I can help make a difference. The latest Simply Loved-Red Cross collaboration was an easy one for me! The Red Cross needed to create an image to use for a billboard campaign and I was more than willing to help them realize their vision!

Every time you drive by one of these billboards honk, wave, and think of me ; ) and as always, support your local red cross!
